Moraine Lake Lodge is set within Banff National Park, on the shore of Moraine Lake and beneath the Valley of the Ten Peaks – one of the most photographed views in the Canadian Rockies. Lake Louise village and its own famous lake are close by, with Banff around an hour's drive to the south-east and Calgary roughly 3 hours by road. Because the lodge sits right on the lake, many of the best views and walking trails are reached on foot once you've arrived, with no need to drive again. Access along Moraine Lake Road is seasonal, which makes this a particularly striking base for a summer Rockies stay.
