The village of Egmont sits close by, with Madeira Park and Sechelt a little further on for a wider choice of shops and cafes. Right on your doorstep are the tidal rapids of Skookumchuck Narrows and the fjord-like waters of Jervis Inlet, with boat trips running out to the waterfalls of Princess Louisa Inlet, one of the Sunshine Coast's best-loved natural landmarks.
