Once you have completed the Check-In process online or in the app, you will receive an Xpress Boarding Pass. This indicates that you successfully completed the check-in process for yourself, and those guests listed on your Xpress Pass.

You can book your shore excursions as soon as you have booked your cruise. We highly recommend booking your shore excursions well in advance as popular tours including wildlife tours are very popular and book out well in advance.

Celebrity sails to Alaska with the Celebrity Solstice on roundtrip sailings from Vancouver on Sundays, with a capacity of 2,850 passengers. The Solstice is sailing to Alaska in 2026. 

The Celebrity Edge operates on roundtrip sailings from Seattle, with a capacity of 2,908 passengers.

The Celebrity Summit operates one way sailings from Seward to Vancouver, with a capacity of 2,158 passengers. The Summit is sailing to Alaska in 2027.

• You will require your explorer pass which you will be issued after completing your online check in.
• Government issued passport with at least 6 months validity from date of return to the UK.
• You will require a USA ESTA as you are travelling to Alaska (Please see our dedicated Passports, Visa's and FCO advice page for further detail).

Boarding times (Embarkation) will vary depending on itinerary, and/or ship, and may even vary by sail date due to operational situations. After you have completed your online check in you will be provided with your check-in time. Guests staying in suites or concierge class may use priority embarkation lines.

3-4 weeks prior to departure from the UK your Celebrity luggage labels will be sent in your My Canada Trips documentation. Please ensure you label your luggage for your bags to be transferred to your cabin.

Your inclusions may differ depending on which package you have been booked on. Typically, your My Canada Trips package includes Wifi, classic drinks package and gratuities. Your booking confirmation will confirm all your booking inclusion.

Yes! You will see plenty of glaciers. Depending on your itinerary you will have the opportunity to see Hubbard Glacier or Endicott Arm.

Basic Wi-Fi Package

With the Basic Wi-Fi you can browse the web, send emails, and text family and friends via select messaging apps. It’s a great value option for staying connected while you’re on vacation, but please note that features such as emailing large files, sharing photos or videos on social media, using streaming apps, or making video calls are only available with the Premium Wi-Fi. Basic Wi-Fi is only available for pre-cruise purchase or with All Included.

Premium Wi-Fi Package

Premium Wi-Fi puts internet streaming at your fingertips throughout your vacation. Message or video chat with your friends and family, browse the web, send emails even with larger files attached, and post on social media to your heart’s content. Plus, you can enjoy videos, movies, binge-worthy shows, and music on your favourite streaming apps. Plus, stream from your personal device to your in-stateroom TV.

Celebrity offers 3 drinks packages, there is no daily limit on the number of beverages you can enjoy, however, Celebrity reserves the right to refuse service if they believe you are too intoxicated. Drinks Packages must be purchased for everyone residing in the cabin, and it must be the same package for everyone with exceptions made for children, pregnant women, and those with medical issues that probit them from drinking. 

Classic Drinks Package – US$89.00pp per day.

This package is automatically included if your cruise was booked on the ‘Always Included’ rate (Classic Drinks, prepaid Gratuities, and basic onboard Wi-Fi). Please refer to your My Canada Trips booking confirmation for your inclusions. We are aware that in some instances, this rate does not show on the Celebrity App. If your My Canada Trips confirmation lists the Classic Drinks package, this is included.

Inclusions

Beers, wine (by the glass), liqueurs, cocktails, spirits, specialty drinks, soft drinks, fresh juices, smoothies, bottled iced tea, mocktails, specialty coffees, teas, bottled water, and energy drinks – up to the value of US$10.00. If you wish to partake in a premium beverage (for example a US$12.00 cocktail), the additional US$2.00 will be charged to your account.

Premium Drinks Package – US$109.00pp per day

You can upgrade your Classic package to the Premium Package pre-departure or on board.

Inclusions

Artisan beers, wine (by the glass), liqueurs, cocktails, spirits, specialty drinks, soft drinks, fresh juices, smoothies, bottled iced tea, mocktails, specialty coffees, teas, bottled water, and energy drinks – up to the value of US$17.00. If you wish to partake in a beverage over that value (for example a US$19.00 cocktail), the additional US$2.00 will be charged to your account.

Zero Proof Drinks Package – US$30.00pp per day

A non-alcoholic package option for a range of fun onboard refreshments.

Inclusions

Soft drinks, fresh juices, smoothies, bottled iced tea, mocktails, specialty coffees, teas, bottled water, and energy drinks.

No Drinks Package

If you choose not to purchase a Celebrity Drinks package, onboard beverages can be bought at cost from any drinks station you like - a discretional 20% gratuity will automatically add to your account per drink. There is also a range of free beverages available throughout the ship and main dining room featuring assorted juices, coffees, iced tea, and water.

When booking your Celebrity Cruise you can prepay your gratuities as part of your cruise package.

Gratuities for stateroom and restaurant services are shared by dining, bar and culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams. A 20% gratuity will be added to all specialty dining, all spa and salon purchases and room service onboard.

Celebrity Cruises maintains a relaxed yet stylish dress code, with resort casual attire during the day and smart casual most evenings. On select nights, guests are invited to embrace Evening Chic, which encourages elegant outfits like cocktail dresses or dress shirts and trousers without the need for formalwear. While dressing up is welcome, it’s not required, allowing guests to feel comfortable while enjoying a touch of sophistication throughout their cruise.

24-hour room service is available any time of the day or night - simply order from the room service menu located in your stateroom (Room service fee of $9.95* applies). A 20% gratuity is additional and will automatically be added to your check.

Continental breakfast room service is complimentary. Available from 6am – 11am each day of the cruise except disembarkation day.

Each stateroom will be equipped with a safe. There is no safety deposit boxes available while onboard.

You can use your SeaPass card/account! Your SeaPass is a room key that should be waiting in your stateroom or stateroom mailbox when you arrive to your room onboard. Your SeaPass lets you into your stateroom and doubles as your Onboard Account charge card. You can show your SeaPass at bars, dining, and other venues onboard when you'd like to make purchases. It can also be used to access special areas of the ship if you are booked in a Retreat, Concierge or Aquaclass stateroom. You can view your balance and onboard purchase in the Celebrity Cruises App, on your in room TV (where applicable) or by visiting the Guest Relations desk. The credit card tied to your booking may be authorized for large amounts while you're onboard and will be charged at the end of the cruise.

You can book your speciality dining through the Celebrity App. For the main dining room you will be asked at the time to booking which time you would prefer.
