Location & What's Nearby

Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge sits deep within Clayoquot Sound, on a remote stretch of the Bedwell Valley on Vancouver Island – there's no road access at all. Most guests reach the lodge via a scenic floatplane transfer of around 45 minutes from Tofino or Vancouver Island, with boat transfers available as an alternative. The surrounding temperate rainforest borders Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, and the sound itself is known for its old-growth forest and rich wildlife, including bears, whales and eagles. Given the setting, there are no shops, restaurants or cafes nearby. Everything you need for your stay is provided within the lodge grounds itself.
