The Northern Light Inn was a dream of Steve and Shirley Letto after they started a tourism home in 1968. Their dream became a reality in 1974 when they opened an eight room hotel with a small restaurant and lounge.
The Northern Light Inn is now the largest hotel in the region with seventy rooms and a full range of services. The hotel continues its family operations under the management of Steve and Shirley's sons Chad and Brad and employs 25 people.
Chosen as one of the top 500 "Where to Eat in Canada" restaurants for five years, the family restaurant offers a great selection of food for your breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The hotel specialises in traditional Labrador cuisine, as well as family favourites of Greco Pizza and Chester Fried Chicken.
The casual family-style restaurant offers daily luncheon and evening specials and strongly recommend you to try the signature dishes of fish, caribou and ribs. Also recommended you start your day with the "Labrador Buffet Breakfast", which features a wide variety of local foods and traditional breakfast items.
