Chester provides an authentic Nova Scotia experience. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, you can explore the town and discover a curious municipal saltwater pool that fills at high tide, or a statue of a vetran in a kilt. Chester is also home to Fo'c'sle Tavern, Nova Scotia's oldest pub.

Chester is also the perfect location to plan an excursion out to the Tancook Islands from. The islands are  lost-in-time islands with 200 year-round residents. They both are accessible via a short ferry ride, offering good walking lanes and trails that provide visitors with stunning views of the Nova Scotia landscape.
