The Banff National Park Information Centre is around 5 minutes by car, and Banff Upper Hot Springs is a little further at around 10 minutes' drive. Calgary International Airport is around a 90-minute drive.
We often suggest Canalta Lodge for families who want a bit of space to spread out, with the courtyard hot tubs and fire pit a genuine hit with kids after a day on the trails or slopes. It's a good option if you don't mind a short drive into the main part of town in exchange for a quieter setting and free hot breakfast included.
