The stretch of trail along the Rimrocks off Airport Road (Highway 3) is a fantastic place to take in the mountains. These sandstone bluffs surround the city and are estimated to be at least 70 million years old.
On a clear day, five mountain ranges can be seen from the trail: Pryor, Big Horn, Bull, Crazy and Absaroka-Beartooth.
