This fleet of meticulously maintained and rare classic fiberglass runabout boats from the jet-age era (1958-1963), have been made available for everyone to enjoy and take out on the beautiful waterways of Saugatuck/Douglas. With fanciful fins and headlights, retro cool colors and chrome details, they’ve kept their vintage style but retro-fitted them with electric motors. They’re quiet and environmentally friendly, allowing for conversation and to enjoy the fresh air and beauty of Michigan. Retro Boat Rentals also offers a Pontoon boat for rent, as well as Donut Boats and Duffy Boats, that are electric as well, for larger groups. All of this can be found at The Old Boat House, a waterfront bar and restaurant along the Kalamazoo River. Whether you’re renting a boat, or just want to enjoy their beautiful patio, come experience this unique setting along the waterfront in Saugatuck.

Wild West Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch that began in 1995 “with a pony for the kids”. Their mission is to share the love and joy of horses with people of all ages and abilities. Through offering variety, fun and safe opportunities to experience their horse family while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Whether you come for a trail ride, sleigh ride or a carriage ride with the whole family, the memories you make with the horse family, will last a lifetime!

To celebrate love for the community, a one acre parcel of land that had been used as a horse farm for the past 25+ years, has been transformed into a community gathering place and peaceful oasis for visitors. It was a perfect location with naturally sandy soil, lots of sun, and all of the natural necessities for growing lavender.

Even with over 1,000  lavender plants, a community space would need more than just the calming effects of lavender. With that in mind, peaceful gardens, bird feeders, exotic trees, a zen garden, fountains, sculptures and many small sitting spaces were added to embrace and enhance that sense of calm restfulness everyone needs. The farm strive to help as many people as it can to reconnect with the earth and all of its sounds, sights, smells, and the peace these bring to our soul.
