Day 3 - Rideau Canal River Cruise & Byward Market

Enjoy a scenic cruise along Ottawa’s Rideau Canal. With a narrated journey along one of the capitals most scenic waterways. As the boat travels the river, you can enjoy views of historic architecture, well known landmarks and natural shoreline landscapes from a peaceful vantage point on the water. A spacious upper deck provides plenty of room to relax while taking in the broad outlook over the city. The experience blends sightseeing, river scenery and an inviting atmosphere throughout the cruise.

In the evening enjoy a food tour of the Byward Market. Enjoy a delicious mix of food, history, and local culture on a welcoming guided walking tour through Ottawa's well known ByWard Market. Along the way, your guide shares engaging stories about the markets past and how it has grown into the lively destination it is today. You visit four unique food stops, with three Savory dishes and one sweet treat that highlight Ottawa's street and pub food scene. Day 4 - Ottawa to Montebello

This morning you will depart Ottawa and set off on a scenic drive to Montebello, following the Ottawa River as it winds through the picturesque Outaouais region of Quebec. The route hugs the riverbank for long stretches, offering lovely glimpses of the water framed by dense forest, and passes through quiet rural villages and rolling farmland along the way. It's a relaxed, scenic journey through some of Quebec's most tranquil countryside, arriving at the historic Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello the world's largest log cabin set amid manicured grounds on the banks of the Ottawa River.

Day 5 - Montebello to Mont Tremblant

This morning you will depart Montebello and continue your journey north into the Laurentian Mountains, one of Quebec's most scenic regions. The drive takes you through rolling hills, dense maple and pine forests, and past a series of pretty lakes, with the landscape becoming increasingly mountainous as you approach Mont Tremblant. Along the way you'll pass through charming Laurentian towns before arriving at the resort, set on the shores of Lac Tremblant beneath the peak of Mont Tremblant itself.

Day 6 - Mont Tremblant

Spend today at leisure exploring the resort and its surroundings. Wander the colourful pedestrian village with its boutiques, cafes and lakeside promenade, or take the gondola up Mont Tremblant for sweeping views across the Laurentian countryside and its patchwork of forests and lakes. Outdoor pursuits include hiking and mountain biking trails, golf, and water sports on Lac Tremblant, while the resort's spa offers a relaxing way to unwind after a day taking in the mountain scenery.

Day 7 - Mont Tremblant to Quebec City

Today you will bid farewell to the mountains and make the journey east to Quebec City. The drive follows the St. Lawrence lowlands, passing rural farmland, small riverside towns and long stretches of countryside before the historic skyline of Quebec City comes into view. Upon arrival, transfer to the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, perched high above the St. Lawrence River overlooking the old walled city, where you'll spend the remainder of your day at leisure.

Day 8 - Quebec City

Explore Quebec City, we have included a walking tour to help you discover the cities highlights. Follow your guide off the beaten track and be captivated by the charms of Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During this tour, you'll admire various historical monuments and landmarks in Quebec City's historic district.

Day 9 - Quebec City to La Malbaie

This morning you'll journey along the St. Lawrence River towards La Malbaie, following the scenic route through the Charlevoix region, one of Quebec's most beautiful natural landscapes, where mountains meet the river and traditional villages dot the shoreline. On your drive today we have included the cable car at Montmorency Falls, giving you a bird's eye view over one of the tallest waterfalls in the province. Continuing along the coastal road, you'll pass through picturesque towns such as Baie-Saint-Paul, with sweeping views over the widening St. Lawrence River as it opens towards the sea, before arriving at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, perched on the cliffs above the river in La Malbaie.

Day 10 - La Malbaie to Montreal

Today you will make the return journey along the St. Lawrence River towards Montreal. The drive retraces the Charlevoix coastline before joining the river route south, passing through Quebec City and the fertile farmland of the St. Lawrence lowlands, with the river never far from view. As you near Montreal, the scenery shifts from rural countryside to the city's skyline rising on the horizon. Upon arrival, transfer to the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, ideally located in the heart of downtown Montreal, where you'll spend the remainder of your day at leisure.
