Meredith is situated in a great location beside Lake Winnipesaukee. It is home to the Stonedam Island Natural Area and the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad.

Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad

The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad is located in the village of Meredith, NH at the northern end of Lake Winnipesaukee. From the Meredith Station, you can enjoy 2-hour train rides along the lake shore, while 1-hour train rides are available from our Weirs Beach location – all train rides are round trip, and all of our trains operate rain or shine. Available daily throughout the summer months and weekends during the spring and fall, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the lake on one side of the train, and views of beautiful vacation homes can be seen on the other side.

Zipline Tour

Get your adrenaline pumping on our high-flying Zipline Tour! Soar above the trees from peak to peak, and peak to base, traveling over a combined 1.6 miles on one of the longest zipline tours in the Continental United States. This 1.5+ hour adventure is for thrill seekers and nature lovers alike. You can even control your speed and reach up to 70mph!

Treetop Adventure

Built in the trees near the pond, the Aerial Treetop Adventure (ATA) course is New England's largest aerial obstacle course! Explore Gunstock from a bird's eye view. 90 different challenges are securely suspended within the trees in a combined total of 8 high ropes courses, including two demos and the Explorer Course just for kids. Some of the features include log ladders, bridges, swings, seesaws, foot bridges and, of course, lots of ziplines.

Mountain Coaster

Riders begin and end on the Mountain Coaster in a two-person cart on twin, stainless steel rails. The coaster takes riders uphill through the forest before the cart disengages, and gravity takes over. The downhill track is designed with swooping turns, banked corners, rolling drops and 360° turns. Each cart is equipped with its own braking system, allowing you to slow speeds to a comfortable pace or accelerate to G-Force inducing levels.

Tubing

Only available throughout the winter months.

Our multi-lane Tubing Hill is fun for everyone. Experience the thrill of sledding, without the walk up the hill! Our magic carpet makes the ride up easier and more comfortable. Our well-groomed lanes come from a specialized PistenBully Tube Shaper groomer attachment. Your tubing experience is smoother, faster and more enjoyable - plus - you get in more runs during your 2-Hour Tubing Session! Tubes are provided.

Narrated Scenic Boat Tour

Experience the majesty of Lake Winnipesaukee during a narrated scenic tour aboard the historic M/S Mount Washington. Learn about the history of the region and local folklore, surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in New Hampshire. With daily deaprtures from Weirs Beach, and convenient depatures from Wolfeboro and Alton Bay on select days, it's easy to fit a cruise on "the Mount" into your travel plans.
