Wilderness North Lodge is a remote base, reached by air rather than road. You fly in from Armstrong for Strikers Point, from Nakina for Makokibatan and from Thunder Bay for Miminiska. Strikers Point sits at the eastern end of Whitewater Lake in Wabakimi Provincial Park, with 26,000 acres of water to explore. Makokibatan is on the Albany River, while Miminiska offers fishing on both lake and river.
